Weston’s Appliance recently opened a new store in Noblesville.
The store is located in downtown Hamilton, 14120 Brooks School Rd., Suite 100. It officially opened on August 26th.
Weston’s Appliance, originally from Anderson, has also recently expanded to Muncie.
Weston’s Appliance is owned by Fishers Lane resident Ely. Store General Manager Ron Baldwin is pleased with the growth of the business.
“We are at our third store in three or four years. It’s going really well, ”Baldwin said. “The only reason people went to these big box stores (to buy appliances) was because they didn’t have a more local option. “
Downtown Hamilton brings Weston appliances closer to home for Ely but, more importantly, offers an opportunity to expand into a new market, which is suddenly Weston Appliances’ most important.
“This is by far our biggest store,” Ely said. “We have more products here than in any of our other stores. It’s our flagship now.
Ely and Baldwin were former hhgregg employees, working as installation experts for the company’s devices. They decided to open their own appliance store after hhgregg filed for bankruptcy in 2017. They focus on quality products and customer service.
“If you call (a big box store), you’ll get ‘Wait, please,’ and it’ll ring and ring and ring,” Ely said. “Then the person answering was in wood or in plumbing the day before. When you call here you get someone who is knowledgeable about home appliances, only works in appliances, and can help you. “
Weston’s does not outsource the installation to third parties.
“We don’t subcontract anything. We know who is going to your home to help you, ”said Baldwin. “Delivery and installation was all I did when I was with hhgregg. If we look badly installing your appliances, it won’t make you want to come back to us. The delivery guy is the last person the customer works with, so they should be on the verge of making sure the customer has a good experience.
